The Bugatti Galibier To Go Into Production Next Year
With Veyron production coming to a close in the near future, speculation has been endless regarding Bugatti’s next move.
Apparently, Bugatti has been working secretly on the Galibier, and according to Wolfgang Dürheimer, the man in-charge of running both Bentley and Bugatti, the production version would hit the market sometime next year.
The Galibier is expected to use a detuned version of the Veyron’s W16 motor. Rumors suggest it’ll have 800-hp, which should be adequate to propel this luxury limo.
Bugatti hopes to produce between 1000 – 1500 Galibier’s, so it won’t be as rare as the Veyron, but don’t expect it to be any cheaper, as the starting price is said to be $1.45 million.
It has been two-years since Bugatti pulled the covers off their Galibier super-sedan concept, and while they had made much noise about the concept when it was revealed, not much has been said about this car since.
